On July 17 , the Minnesota Timberwolves faced the Phoenix Suns. Facing the Suns, who had a big lead in the first quarter, the Timberwolves gradually narrowed the gap under the leadership of Dillingham and Miller, and finally reversed the game in the final stage, winning 89-85.

In the first quarter, the Suns were in full swing, with Boogie Ellis scoring 12 points to help the team build a 32-16 lead. Although Leonard Miller scored 6 points for the Timberwolves , the overall offensive efficiency was not high and it was difficult to narrow the gap.
